About

About

Are you an Artist, dreaming of making a full time living being creative?

I am.

I had so much doubt in myself that I didn’t even know where to start.

But then I felt this urge to want to learn how.

As I share my journey on Next Art Piece, I also hope I can help inspire Artists, Creatives, Entrepreneurs and readers alike to do the same.

During my journey, I will share my thoughts about how I create passive income with my passion for creativity.

We can connect and share our dreams as we help inspire each other to be the Artist we truly need to be.

MY STORY

Hi I’m Santana Herniman and welcome to Next Art Piece.

I must state right now, I am not the best writer out there so bare with me as I write as best as I can.

I am an aspiring Artist, a Screen Printer by trade, and newly a Blogger.

A little bit about me. I live on the Gold Coast in Australia but I am originally from New Zealand. With a half cast of Pakeha (Caucasian) and Maori (Native New Zealander) heritage running through my veins, I am proud to be who I am.

Growing up on the East Coast of the North Island, in a city called Gisborne, after high school I was unsure where I wanted to be in my life, so I took a one way ticket to our neighbours next door, Australia, and decided to create a life for myself.

I have been Screen Printing for almost 10 years and don’t get me wrong I love what I do, but after an injury that took me out of work for 7 weeks it got me thinking.

How can I create passive income incase this every happened again.

So I went searching online for a solution.

I spent a lot of time and money searching through assorted avenues to help me escape my 9 to 5.

I have read countless blogs and reviews and then decided to start this blog – Next Art Piece.

I knew my true passion was in art.

And as of January 2018, I decided to create a way to share my art and experiences.

I am so lucky to have found an awesome online training platform to teach me how to create passive income.

I found Wealthy Affiliate and decided to start this blog to share my journey with Next Art Piece, and to inspire other emerging Artists along the way.

Wealthy Affiliate has an encouraging community too.

Come learn from the best. Our Starter Membership is FREE.

My passion for painting and visual arts had been embedded in me since an early age. F

or example; almost every time on my Birthday and on Christmas, I can remember getting an 80 piece set of pencils, felts and paints, along with multiple giant art pads to draw on.

And I would spend countless hours doodling on them.

As a young boy I would draw Pokemon and Dragon Ball Z characters. And over time just started creating anything from faces to landscapes, birds to sea life and the list goes on. Anything just to zone out and be creative.

So you can say I have been creating art my entire life.

I especially enjoy sketching and painting.

I have done commission pieces and creative works in which I have shared on Facebook and Instagram, but most of all I love to dig deep into my imagination and produce something so strange or far-fetched that no one has ever seen before.

WHY I WANT TO HELP PEOPLE

I started Next Art Piece as a way to show off my passion for painting.

But I wanted to learn more on how to turn it into passive income.

So I thought I would document my journey through my blog and show how I use Weathy Affiliate and art to create my dream.

My dream is to take my creative side and turn it into a business.

I decided to learn as much as I could about blogging and how to create passive income.

On this journey I hope to inspire and encourage everyone to follow along.

Aren’t you sick of waking up every day, doing the same thing, and hoping for change?

That’s basically the definition of insanity.

So if you are unhappy with where you are, it is never too late to start your next art piece.

Take your passion and turn it into a business.

Don’t let life hold you back.

MY GOALS FOR NEXT ART PIECE

Not only do I want chase my dream, and to share my thoughts and my artwork, I also want to inspire your curiosity as well. Chase your dreams and create and share your own artworks.

Let’s challenge ourselves in this world, and push all creative limits to the edge.

My goals for Next Art Piece are;

  • Create passive income
  • Inspire a new age of artists
  • Help artists create an art business
  • Market art on social media
  • Share tips on how I create passive income
  • To become a helpful blog

It’s not going to be an overnight success, but I am in it for the long run.

I am not going to get things right from the beginning but every step of the way is a learning curve.

I have so much to learn and to do with this blog and my own art.

So thanks for joining me on this journey with Next Art Piece and I hope you find your motivation and decide to chase your artistic dream too.
